About Oriel

For all my students, I have will tailor the lessons to their needs. Whether that be learning for business reasons, for fun, in preparation for a trip or to improve their fluency in conversation. Having been a language student for nearly 10 years, I know what works and what doesn't work so well, so be assured that the lessons you have with me will be relevant and most definitely fun! I find using real life sources, such as magazines, TV shows, films is extremely helpful in developing useful vocabulary and becoming accustomed to frequently used phrases. I am TEFL qualified and have taught Japanese to 1st and 2nd year university students. Alongside my love for languages, I am a keen musician and frequently climb both inside and outside.

Teaching Expertise

I have experience teaching Japanese language from beginner to advanced (1st and 2nd year students). I spent a year abroad studying at Seikei university in Tokyo where I also worked part time as an English conversation teacher.
