About Valentina

My teaching method is based on my passion on grammar studies that has been cultivated through all these years approaching Italian, Latin, French English and their respective linguistics and literature. Moreover, my interest and curiosity toward other cultures empowers students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in their future in an immersive environment. I have been an Erasmus student twice in two different countries and this, with my studies, helped a lot in achieving a well balanced cultural awareness. My goal is to help students to improve their confidence with foreign languages and increase their cultural awareness. I have a distinct passion for grammar and I have dealt years with it, elaborating a profound knowledge of the subject.

Teaching Expertise

As a Italian teaching assistant I spend up to a semester helping students improve their confidence with foreign languages and increase their cultural awareness. In this role, I taught the students of the University of Liverpool Italian as foreign language and assisted them from A1 to C1 levels in their independent learning. Nowadays, I am still in contact with my ex students and build more contacts through private Italian lessons.
