About Veronica

I do not have extensive professional or formal teaching experience, however, I have both studied and spoken the language in a variety of work and social settings. I feel my experience attending a boarding high school allowed me to converse with international Chinese speaking and Chinese native students, increasing my proficiency and ability to speak and converse. I am eager to tutor anyone willing to learn Chinese as I feel it is a beautiful, complex language rooted in a plethora of cultural and historical bases. I look forward to meeting any and all students and learning about them as individuals as I feel the best way to teach a language is to learn how your student learns best and cater their tutoring experience accordingly.

I have been tutoring fellow Miami students in Chinese as well as I have previous experience tutoring fellow students in my high school.
