About Mayra

Hello, my name is Mayra Jimenez. I’m a teacher from Lima-Peru. I really enjoy teaching, I think it is very important to use different strategies to understand a new language. Playing is very important to practice and learn faster. Another strategy I use is to create experiences with daily life situations. I have traveled around the world To learn the newest and best ways to teach and I apply all of the great ideas on every learning experience.

Teaching Expertise

I have worked in 3 different private schools in Lima, teaching early grades and elementary. At the same time I traveled to different countries and cities as a volunteer, also I’m developing a curriculum for a NGO Were I work as the Program Director in Peru. Nowadays I’m studying to get a Certificate on Early Years Education from Harvard.
