About Erika

I am an experienced and highly enthusiastic teaching professional and immensely devoted to teaching you to become a confident German speaker. My lessons are engaging, fun and evidence-based. To encourage fluency, we will speak in German immediately in playful and effortless ways. You will learn sentences from authentic sources relating to your interests and focusing on keywords, phrases, and conversational connectors. These sentences will create a mental association with what you already know and build a place in your brain where you can attach new vocabulary. My virtual tour and digital media lessons are a fun way for you to use, for example, a movie, a museum, or the magazine 'Der Spiegel' as a springboard for learning and to provide insights into German language and culture.
