About Esperanza

I’m an open-minded and energetic teacher who is keen to share my knowledge of Spanish and will tailor a language course to suit their specific interests. Whether they are small or big groups of children, teenagers, or adults; I will cover the relevant subjects with appropriate materials for either general purpose or academic learning with interactive and communicative methods. I have different ways to teach, everything depends on the student´s needs. With me, they can learn grammar, have conversations, talk about what is happening in the world, in art, business or just chat about life. My methodology, that includes communication skills, smattering grammatical and contrastive teaching materials to solve the main difficulties of the students.

Teaching Expertise

- 2010 until now. I have been a private Spanish tutor with both adults and children in several locations across England, I do it remotely online as well. I encourage and motivate my students to improve and to learn by themselves, to become autonomous language learners. I work from home and online. All levels (from Key Stage 1 to GCSE, A levels students and adult learners.) - 2012. Online tutor for AVE, Instituto Cervantes. The AVE includes learning levels A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1.

- 2001. Degree in Communication, specialty in Public Relation and Advertising University of Communication Sciences. Seville

- 2012. E-learning tutor for courses online to teach Spanish to foreigners offered by Instituto Cervantes.

- 2006. Design of Teaching Units: Design, Planning and Evaluation: Imparted by Afoe and with a duration of 120 hours.

- 2004. Pedagogic Orientation (PGSE). 180 hours. Contents: Orientations for the development of teaching profession from the legal, psychologic and pedagogic perspective. The University of Seville.
