About Carmem

My name is Carmem Frota. I am Brazilian and I also have the Dutch nationality.I am graduated in Social Communication – Marketing and Publicity, and in 2018, finished my MBA degree in Business Management. I also gave Marketing lessons at a University when I lived in Brazil. In the Netherlands, I worked as marketing assistant at Michael Page International in Amsterdam. It’s a pleasure to work with people and to teach them about my own culture and language, and also to learn their needs, tailoring the lessons to meet their specific requirements and interests. I give private and group lessons. Portuguese is my native language and I have a high level of the Dutch and English languages, meaning that I can offer my services both in Dutch and English.

Teaching Expertise

May 2018 – Present Coordinator of Ceremonies and Protocol • Coordinator • Fortaleza City Hall Working close to the Mayor of the City of Fortaleza, at the City Hall, give me the opportunity to learn more about the city and the people, their needs, and specially how to involve them in a healthy ambiance around the Mayor daily activities, following the protocol and rules of Ceremonies. - I also gave Marketing lessons at a University when I lived in Brazil. In the Netherlands, I worked as marketing assistant at Michael Page International in Amsterdam.

- I have been a volunteer at Radio KOA (Cabo Verde) where I worked as co-host and was jointly responsible for the topics of conversation, music choices and guest interviews

- Portuguese is my native language and I have a high level of the Dutch and English languages, meaning that I can offer my services both in Dutch and English.
