About Karl

I started teaching English in Indonesia in 2008. Since then, I have had experience teaching in language centres, schools, colleges, government institutions and private corporations. I have taught English for general conversation, academic purposes, exam preparation, travel, business and more. I have taught students of all ages from all levels, though I prefer teaching young adults and adults. I take a student-centred and communicative approach to teaching English, meaning that I focus on helping my students learn language that they can really use in real situations. My classes are lively and interactive with lots of practice and discussion. I look forward to learning with you!
