About Cristina

I like to approach teaching Spanish from a cultural perspective. Starting off by thinking about what attracts them the most about the Spanish-speaking universe (it could be a song, a movie, a book, anything really!) and going from there is always a good way of creating rapport with my students. With me, you will use the language as a real native, including expressions from different Spanish-speaking countries. We will read articles, magazines and websites in Spanish and listen to songs/watch movies and series in Spanish. I also specialise in written Spanish and grammar as I also work as a proof-reader, so if you're interested in working on your essays or fiction works, I am your person! Teaching Expertise

Worked at two Mexican universities teaching Spanish and French for more than 3 years, as a part-time teacher at the Spanish Literature and Languages departments. Taught Writing, Colonial Mexican Literature, Spanish as a Foreign Language and French. Helped to create new curricula programmes. Lesson planning and assessing student learning. Assistant to Spanish teachers in French schools with 20+ hours /week. Created and developed scholar and cultural activities. Created educational material.
