About Sarah

From the time you come to your class you will speak and practise the language you are learning! You will learn to communicate naturally and enjoy using up to date materials to develop your communicative ability. I like to use literature and real texts from magazines and websites, and we will practise real activities like booking travel and meals, going to a meeting at work, or writing an email. I specialise in teaching English for IELTS and the Occupational English Test for nurses and doctors but I offer all levels of English to speakers of other languages. Teaching beginners is fun and they become advanced level students with me! I offer French and Spanish from beginner level to fluency. Learn for work, travel or business. Teaching Expertise

I have been a freelance English, TESOL, TEFL, French and Spanish tutor since 2004. I teach GCSE, AS and A'Level classes in modern languages and English Language and Literature. I teach EFL/TESOL at all levels and specialise in IELTS and the Occupational English Test for nurses and doctors.I have taught in Indonesia (2 years), the Middle East (currently teaching students online), Spain (5 years, including EFL for business and for the OET/IELTS), the Seychelles (EAP), Slovakia and in the UK.
