About Hale

I generally try to keep my lessons fun and conversational. I can help you speak and listen with confidence. I like to work with my students to create lessons specific to their needs and desires. I've been teaching for nearly 6 years, so I have a lot of experience with many levels of English knowledge. I am always patient and kind. I encourage my students to take their time when they struggle with a word or grammar point. I will help you correct your own mistakes. One thing I believe is that as you learn a new language, often, knowing what a native speaker says and means is more important than using more complex grammar or vocabulary. This means that if you can understand them and give a correct answer then you are having a successful conversation. I am excited to get to know you!

Teaching Expertise

I have been working in the education sector for 6 years. Up to now, I have worked in different colleges, language schools, and universities. At the same time, I have been working as a freelance translator since 2017. Right now, I am doing my master's degree in the Department of Linguistics at Johann Wolfgang Göethe University, Frankfurt am Main. I am interested in Linguistics, Translation, Teaching, and Human Relations. I like teaching English as a second language.
