About Sarah

As a speaker of foreign languages, I am fully aware of the challenges non-native speakers can face, having graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA Hons in Italian and Spanish with proficiency in Portuguese. I am an avid language learner myself, having taught myself Beginner's Modern Greek from scratch so I would love to join you on your journey and help you to discover how fun language learning can be! I am currently studying a Research MA in Spanish Literature through the University of Leeds, with the hope of becoming a University Lecturer in Hispanic Studies once I complete my studies to PhD level.

Teaching Expertise

Having tutored Spanish since the first year of my undergrad degree, spending three years teaching English in and around Spain then led me to adopt an interactive and stimulating teaching approach, through which I help my students to stay engaged and strive to keep making progress. I also like to build a good rapport with my students, as I find this encourages them to build confidence both in their language learning and on a personal level.
