About Daniel

As an experienced business professional my specialism is teaching English for business use, but I am equally comfortable with the normal day-to-day Swedish and key phrases for those planning to spend a short time in Sweden. Preparation is key, so I ensure I taylor my teaching to the audience and they way they will use the language. I always put emphasis on listening and speaking however, as without this it is unlikely that the language will be used regularly and stick with the student. Language learning is always best when you make it fun, so I try to ensure people feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

Teaching Expertise

I have 20 years of experience working as analyst and language specialist for multinational companies like Intel, Ryder, TE Connectivity, and Intrado. In the last year I have started working as a freelance translator, transcriber, and language teacher. At Ryder I was the in-house trainer for Salesforce. Translation work include articles for Watching America, and medical translations for the Red Cross through Translators without borders.
