About Retha

I am an Afrikaner who grew up in South Africa. I love different cultures and languages. I understand the challenges of learning a new language as I am trying to learn Greek myself (being married to a Greek). I've taught learners from the age of 11 to 16 years old. I will do my part to try and teach you, but you need to show commitment from your side. Learning another language takes commitment and dedication. Repetition and reading is definitely one of the key points. I can teach you how to communicate in Afrikaans and/or I can teach you how to write in Afrikaans. Vocabulary is so important and that would be part of weekly lessons. Depending on your level, we can just have a casual chat or we can have 1:1 lesson.
