About Inês

From the moment we start we will be speaking in the language you've chosen to learn. Of course, we might use English, for e.g., from time to time to aid, however, we'll aim to promote your autonomy in using the language. Location: Online (via Zoom, Skype or Google Meets). Materials: Official Coursebooks, as well as, authentic materials. The Method: 1. Level Assessment -> we'll identify the level of the student according to the European scheme (A1 - C2); 2. Needs Analysis -> we'll discuss the goals, strengths/weaknesses and specific professional and personal needs; 3. Course/Practice -> the actual lessons; 4. Regular Reevaluation (regularly) -> we'll exchange feedback to assess whether the goals are being met and what can be done to increase productivity.

Teaching Expertise

Over three years of experience teaching online and in-person. I can teach: Business English/Portuguese; General English/Portuguese; English for Kids (K-12); Preparation for Cambridge Exams (such as the FCE). Proficient in English and Portuguese grammar. Can help you develop your writing, reading and speaking skills. Can help you expand your vocabulary and improve your accuracy when speaking the foreign language of your choosing (Portuguese or English).

Inês's Qualifications

- CELTA certification to teach English as a Second Language by the University of Cambridge. Native Portuguese speaker certified to teach foreign languages.

- I have a Bachelor's degree in Management of Tourism Products and professional experience within aviation, tourism/hospitality, real estate, as well as other fields.
