I am teaching Urdu to many students who have zero exposure to Urdu, i explain them things in urdu then in Englisha and ask them to with the flow but just in urdu. Becasue conversations plays a big role in adopting languages. for English yes i do the same, i ask all my students to forget me see as teacher, assume i am your friend and English is your native or firts language and talk to me in English just to boost confidence in them.

i have professional and academic media background, i have been teaching drama, abacus and urdu to many students in person and virtually as well. i am also running a blog under @Urduami name to promote Urdu language.
