About Rosie

I am an experienced and qualified teacher of English, Italian and French. I've taught privately to both children and adults. I also teach Art and literacy as well as study skills and language skills such as reading, writing, listening but also teach conversation classes. Depending on the student's interests and needs I vary my lessons in order to engage my pupil. I sometimes use quite a lot of Art, imagery and drawing in my language lessons with children as it helps them learn and for my solo adult language learning lessons we sometimes do quizzes or read newspaper articles and watch video clips and look at social media (in the chosen language). I prefer to establish a rapport with my student(s) and make sure I find out enough about them before I plan my lessons to ensure they have fun!

English: Teaching one to one and groups of children and adults multi-lingual classes Italian: Teaching one to one and groups. Private tuition through Languages Today and Global Languages. Also taught A-level Italian at mainstream UK schools. Italian Club at prepatory schools French Club - out of school club for after school. Taught 5-10 year olds French. Taught French one to one with adults.

- Celta, Oxford House College, Oxford Street, London, W1. 2010 (Teaching English Certificate)

- A-level French language and literature. Advanced French courses taken whilst at University to supplement my language learning for my BA.
