About Philip

When I start teaching Swahili to a new student, the first thing I do is tell them to place aside the native language as this can’t evaporate. From the first minute, we will talk, listen, and think in Swahili. With me, you will learn to speak Swahili like a real native, including all expressions that you cannot find in a textbook. You will learn to read magazines and websites, and eventually watch Swahili-speaking series and movies. Our lessons won’t seem like traditional learning: you are going to have fun and will be ready and waiting for your next class.
