About Hin

Hello everyone! 大家好! I'm Frankie (我叫 Frankie), a native Cantonese speaker raised in Hong Kong with professional proficiency in Mandarin. With over 8 years of experience, I specialize in teaching both Cantonese and Mandarin, along with Chinese culture, to non-native speakers. I take joy in fostering cultural exchanges among diverse individuals. My students, spanning the globe from the US and UK to Canada, India, Germany, Hong Kong, Australia, and more, come from various backgrounds, including teachers, business consultants, doctors, and students from elementary to university levels.

Teaching Expertise

Speaking of my teaching strategy, I emphasize integrating language learning into students’ everyday lives and encourage my students to engage in in-class interactive activities, in which I create numerous real-world scenarios, making sure that students can apply what they have learned. I also make use of various forms of cultural production, such as movies, TV dramas, and YouTube videos, to stimulate students' interest.
