About Maria
Hello, my name is Maria and I am a Portuguese teacher. My first language is Spanish but I have been living in Brazil for 20 years, so I consider myself bilingual. I have over 7 years of experience teaching Portuguese online and on a face to face basis and I love making my lessons fun by contrasting the different accents within Portuguese language, which helps me explain grammar rules and vocabulary to my students. I love my lessons to be didactic, that is why I use a lot of audiovisual resources while teaching.
