About Sydney

My name is Sydney Kerelo and I am from the greater Philadelphia area. Throughout the years, I have gained experience in various roles such as being an Assistant Editor for a magazine publishing company, Del Val Media, based in South Jersey. As well as being the supervisor/healthcare director for an after school program/summer camp, Woodstown-Pilesgrove SACC, where I was in charge of all communications, marketing, teaching and administrative work. I spent my days perfecting my writing, editing and teaching skills and was able to closely analyze other teachers work. I gained experience in teaching through helping other students with their homework and I was able to develop my own methods. I also have a Bachelors of Arts degree in journalism and English where I was able to perfect my craft.

Teaching Expertise

I have five years of working within an after-school/summer program where I worked closely with students from all ages. I not only was able to become knowledgeable about ways children learn but I gained experience personally helping them with their work and discovering different teaching methods. I also spent three years as an editor, for both a newspaper and magazine, where I perfected my writing and reading skills.
