About MIAO

I am an energetic, motivated and enthusiastic teacher and I endeavour to keep up with the latest teaching contents and resources. I focus on establishing harmonious and safe learning environments that support and challenge learners by using a range of flexible learning styles, materials and resources. I employ a range of teaching and learning resources and strategies to actively engage all learners and address their interests, learning needs and learning preferences. My goal is about how to engage and raise the interests of all my students in Chinese learning. I also focus on scaffolding students’ self-directed learning skills and abilities. I make great efforts to communicate clearly and show a capacity to build appropriate rapport with learners.
