About Ericka

Hello! I am an experienced English teacher and I would like to meet you! I strive to make all of my lessons not only educational, but also FUN! Learning English is easier and more fun using games, videos, and online sources, including current events. My students have expressed how easily they can understand and learn from me, and how my lessons are enjoyable so learning another language doesn't feel like work. Let's have FUN with English! Teaching Expertise

I taught French and American Sign Language for 4 years in the USA before moving to Japan to teach English for the past 3 years. I have taught English at multiple universities with students of all levels. I have also taught English to high school students and professional business students. I am a native English speaker as well as a writer, and I am good at correcting and explaining grammar. I enjoy helping students figure out the meaning of a word or phrase by giving them context and rephrasing.
