About Elizabeth

I teach English the way people acquire any language: by speaking first, then reading, then writing. I am most interested in meeting students where they are and helping them acquire the words they most need NOW. I will make lessons individualized and meaningful to students so that they are getting the most out of their money, an hour at a time. I will meet students where they are and make sure they not only learn English, but they understand the "why" behind the rules, to the best of my ability. I am an EXCELLENT writing teacher!

I utilize a mental toolbox compiled over 2 decades of making English comprehensible, specializing in students who struggle. I have a variety of methods for making concepts understandable, and I am committed to making learning a non-stressful endeavor for all people.
