I have 5 years experience of teaching. I taught English to students in China for two and a half years. I like the art of conversation, how to build it and to communicate what you are feeling.
English learning and speaking is a lot like learning music. There are rules and time needs to be spent on it daily to master it. Practise makes perfect just like in Drama or a theatre you need to be able to communicate, listen and respond. The art of conversation is the beauty of language. I like to talk about ideas and things, the history of things, world events, cooking, traveling. Reading is a great way of mastering the pronunciation of words and I like to read with students. I also like to write stories, tell stories and make up new worlds. Expressing yourself in English is the simplest thing you just need practise. Please book a demo and let's talk.
I started teaching five years ago at a school as a choral conductor, when I was finishing my studies. Thereafter I went to China to work at EF in the Zhejiang province. We were taught the fundamentals of teaching with limited Teacher talking time. During the pandemic outbreak in China, we continued teaching online from January to May/June. The 5 areas of language learning are speaking, writing, listening, reading, phonics. I find that the spoken area of language is where time should be spent.
