About Alexandra

When teaching Italian, I focus on communication and confidence. I want my students to be confident and not afraid to practice speaking in a new language. I like to focus on speaking and listening in order to think in Italian, rather than English. I do not teach directly from a textbook, although I do pull some resources from books. I also use videos, music, podcasts, and other sources. I teach the grammar and vocabulary in a nontraditional way, as in, I teach it they way each student learns best. I cater all of my lessons and activities to each individual student, as we all learn differently. I teach one-on-one, but I also teach in groups, as a group setting encourages communication and learning through dialogue. Try your first session free and get to know me and my teaching styles!
