Γεια σας! Hello everyone! My name is Thaleia, and I am from Thessaloniki, Greece. For the past 12 years, I’ve been living and working as a Greek language teacher in the US. Except for Greek, I speak fluently in English and French. I am a certified Greek language instructor with a BA in Philosophy and Education and an MA in Continuing Education. I am a certified world language teacher in the US, and I am also working on my second MA in Teaching Greek as a Foreign / Second language. Not only that, but I have 12 years of experience as a school Greek language teacher to elementary and middle school students and 5 years to adults. I also create my teaching material according to ACTFL standards and the Ellinomatheia Greek language test. I prepare students for the Ellinomatheia test.

Teaching Expertise

For the past 12 years, I have been living and working as a Greek language teacher in the US. I have 12 years of experience as a school Greek language instructor, teaching elementary and middle school students. I have 5 years of experience in adult education, focusing on the student’s learning needs. Not only that, but I have been a proctor and evaluator for the Ellinomatheia Greek language test, I create the curriculum, teaching, and assessment material for my students based on ACTFL standards
