About Katharine

My name is Katharine M. Melendez, I have 4 years of experience teaching Spanish and English. The classes I offer are in the Spanish language. My classes are focused on grammar and conversation skills. I think my teaching skills are unique because I like to be dynamic, use props, music, art and other things to be able to associate teaching with the visual. In my class we will use, think and write Spanish. We will be able to speak the language as someone who was born on my island of Puerto Rico. Maybe my lesson will be a bit childish but I will use anything I can to teach the language and help you see and understand novels, movies or music in the Spanish.
