About Jessica

Hello there! I am an experienced teacher in EFL, Japanese and Dance. I am half Japanese and half English, therefore, I have the appropriate knowledge to teach Japanese. I also have a TEFL certification, so I am qualified to teach EFL. I am happy to teach beginner/intermediate level students. I will prepare fun and exciting learning materials for you, however, if there is anything, in particular, you would like to learn or improve on, please let me know and I can sort this out for you! I use lots of repetition and ask lots of questions to ensure you have clearly understood the material. I will always approach you in a calm and friendly manner! I am very patient as I completely understand the difficulties of learning a new language- I had to learn Japanese too!

Dance Teaching (Self-employed and with other dance schools) since June 2020-present. EFL Teaching Assistant for 5 years. Bar, catering and receptionist work. Children's birthday party hosting.

- Dance, Psychology and Human Biology A-Level, Ribston Hall High School, 2013–2015. 12 x GCSE's A*-C including Japanese, RHHS, 2012-2013. BA Hons in Dance Performance, Middlesex University, 2016-2019.
