About Katarzyna

Hello, I'm Kate. I hold an interest in Japan and its language since 14. Since then I've been continuously educating myself on this subject. In 2019 I graduated from Far East Asian studies with Japanese language. I spent my last term in Kyoto, Japan where I gained precious experience of working in traditional Japanese environment. I also deepened my knowledge regarding culture, customs and traditions. I had an amazing opportunity to travel inside Japan and I visited many places from where I have learnt a lot about local traditions and customs. During my lessons, I provide both language skills and cultural knowledge. I teach my students to read, write and speak in Japanese and I explain the culture in a pleasant method! I have an individual approach to everyone's needs. Welcome!

Teaching Expertise

I hold a BA in Far East Asian studies with Japanese language. Half year ago I passed JLPT N3. I spent one term at Kyoto University during my student's exchange period where I accomplished my degree. I also worked in a traditional Japanese restaurant. I work with children, teenagers and adults. I prepare and provide learning material (grammar, vocabulary, kanji) for each student individually. I am very energetic and I can assure we will have fun and productive time together !
