About Nevena

Welcome to the wonderful world of languages! My name is Nevena and I teach Serbian, Mandarin Chinese and English. As a native Serbian speaker, I want you to dive into the unknown and challenge yourself with learning this melodious and unique language. I also specalise in Chinese Studies as a masters student at Oxford University, so you may want to uncover the secret to successfully reading and writing those characters, understanding the lyrics of Chinese songs or interpreting business contracts. Furthermore, we can start from the beginning and tackle the most spoken language - English! Whatever you choose, I am eager to take you to a journey around the world: to the Balkans, Far East and English-speaking areas! Whether you are 10 or 110, are at basic or advanced level - welcome!

Teaching Expertise

- As a recent graduate, my qualification is Bachelor Teacher in Language and Literature; - Almost two years of part-time consecutive interpreting experience (Mandarin Chinese - Serbian, Serbian - Mandarin Chinese, English- Serbian and Serbian - English, English - Mandarin Chinese, Chinese - Mandarin Chinese); - One year of freelance translating at an online platform; - Part-time teaching Chinese, English or Serbian to students and colleagues.
