About Carol
When we begin our English journey, we will discover the best methods and materials to master the four domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. My specialty and passion is English grammar. I will help you understand and apply the parts of speech, punctuation, sentence construction, etc. Along the way we will work on pronunciation, idioms, and American culture. Reading comprehension is another important component. We will find interesting and challenging texts to which we can apply reading strategies to improve vocabulary and comprehension. You and I will negotiate the path to English proficiency together.
