Sinhala is a unique language only used in Sri Lanka and the sound of its words are like a swan song to the ears. As a professional music, I use poetry as an easy to memorize method to teach my native language. Simple ideas and life experiences are some of the examples I use to teach my students as they can relate and remember words as they are a part of their lives.
