Hi! Nice to meet you. My name is Agustina and I'm a latin american student. I'm from Argentina so my native language is Spanish. I've been learning English since I was 4 because I went to a bilingual school in my home town. Since English is my second language, I know what it is like to learn a foreign language. I understand the struggles, sacrifices and frustation that it overcomes with the learning process. Keep in mind that you have to be patient and have a lot of consistency to properly achieve a fluent level. But don't Perry, I'm here for it, and with hard work and good quality exercises you'll do it!
This is your chance to learn Italian, Spanish and English! :)
I have lived abroad for years so I will teach you not only grammar but also all the expressions that you cannot find in a textbook. You will learn to read magazines, websites and also to watch native-speaking series and movies. First of all, our lessons will be funny. Book a trial lesson to try a lesson with me before you commit. I am here for you!
Hi there, my name is Paula. I grew up in Bogota Colombia and moved to the US when I was younger to pursue my dream of becoming a business woman. I love to teach Spanish and English in a fun and energetic way. I've traveled to so many places and have realized that the way you get taught a language is what initially makes you interested in it. Be prepared to learn cool facts, music, tv shows and more with me (perfect for kids, high schoolers, people who want a more pressure-free way of learning). I am also a professional in the business field, so for those of you who are looking to learn the professional world Spanish/ English, vocabulary and grammar I will make sure you are a pro in that area as well!
I love to create a comfortable learning environment with my students, no matter what level or experience they come from. I seek to not only teach and assist with understanding a new language, but inspire an original appreciation for continuous learning. It's exciting to try and find a learning technique or specific aspect of a culture that creates a more meaningful retention of a new language. As a student, I found that I better understood topics when my instructor would tailor lessons according to my interests. I know that creativity in approach can significantly improve the way we learn, and I would like to be the kind of instructor that allows more space for that!
Hi there all. I am an experienced English teacher with 17 years of teaching experience. I have taught at AlGhad international colleges and northern boarder university. I have a master degree in Applied linguistics. Also, I have had an experience in working as a teacher online through Zoom, blackboard and Microsoft Teams platforms. I am looking for an opportunity to teach at your colleges.
I have taught English to a wide range of ages and abilities for twenty years. My classroom experience ranges from personal tutoring to corporate seminars to small groups of English speakers learning Chinese to classrooms of 30 plus 5-6 years old. I am familiar with and utilize several different methodologies and techniques to enhance language learning. I speak three languages and have lived and worked in different countries. I believe my teaching is based on solid educational principles, but above all, I love languages and I think it should be a positive experience to learn. Most of my career has been teaching children and they are a demanding audience - you must bring patience, entertainment, discipline and care into every class.
I speak English and Spanish(native), the way I would like to give you the course is through mnemonics, a technique by which I have learned from the technology, administrative and neurolinguistic aspects.
For a year in 2020 I had the opportunity to carry out English learning groups, where I worked, where they were adults from the operational sector who were attracted to the language.
At the age of 22 I had the opportunity as a hobby to work with children and teach them English, to introduce myself, to know the colors, the alphabet, Christmas songs, for 6 months.
As you can see, teaching the language has been more of a hobby, because I like it, than I do work.
But now I was attracted to this way of teaching, via virtual, according to your purpose, I plan to support myself in giving Powerpoin
Native Greek Italian Speaker capable of teaching every type of course of these two languages. She uses drama techniques in her teaching (as the role-playing), also different kind of exercises, but the most important of all is that her nature capability to converse helps the students to acquire practice in speaking the language in the most fluent way.
Straight from college I was offered a position a position at the Modern Languages Department.
So I started my career as a language teacher. I also did some freelance translation, including fiction translation. For some time I worked as a full time translator in an international trading company in Moscow. Some of the expats I used to work with asked me about Russian language classes and that were my first steps in teaching Russia as a foreign language.
Then in Pushkin Institute I got some a course in methodology of foreign language teaching.
For some time I worked in Finland where I taught Russian for foreigners.
I have developed a remote course in teaching methodology for Russian Center of Moscow State University and I still teach there part-time.
If I'm teaching Japanese people English the first thing I would do is tell them to stop translating English to Japanese, because I tend to find that trying to speak like a native is way more effective than translating it back to your language. I would help them to pronounce different words in everyday life and help to understand different meanings in a sentence. When I teach people English I teach it the most fun, interesting, and inspiring way possible as I believe that you succeed a lot more whilst having fun learning a language rather than just acting like a robot telling them to read textbooks and learn paragraphs. I teach people with passion excitement and inspiration. I've had amazing feedback from teaching Japanese people for more than 2 years. They have all enjoyed learning.
