Hi and welcome. Here is some information about myself along with my qualification to teach English to adult learners of all levels. Through my career, I have taught many kinds of classes ranging from TOEFL and TOEIC along with grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, informal English, business English and conversation classes. My career has lent me the fortune of meeting and teaching students from 80 different countries, many who have become friends today. My focus is on correct grammar structure as the student understand WHY that is the correct form. This way, errors are infrequent. Homework is an important part to carry on the day's lesson for further comprehension. My classes are varied with different language skills with a degree of fun and laughter. I invite you to try a class.

As your teacher, I will be intentional about getting to know you and tailoring curriculum to your interests. However, I will also challenge you with a wide range of reading, listening, and viewing materials. I believe that learning a language is more than memorizing vocabulary and grammatical structures (although both are important!) Language acquisition is a rare chance to find new ways to express ourselves and encounter new perspectives. Whether you are studying literature, sharpening your conversation skills, or preparing for a test, I look forward to unfolding the complexities of language with you.

I am a lecturer at English Department of Kunduz University in Afghanistan and a native speaker in Farsi (Persian, Dari) language. I have the high level of English proficiency as I have done my BA is in English Language and Literature, holding a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and currently teaching the language. I have published some papers in international journals and written a book on English-Persian Translation Principles. I have the experience of more than years of teaching English and Dari or Farsi languages in the university where I work. I taught English language and Farsi syntax and grammar for university students in Kunduz University of Afghanistan. I try to teach language learners using the target language not their first language.

When I work with students the first thing I do is to help them feel comfortable! Taking a risk and making mistakes is scary! But don't be scared of making mistakes with me. I have been learning French for many years and I still feel discouraged when learning a language. I'm here to help you gain confidence in your abilities by using conversation and culture. Language is not complete without culture, so in addition to grammar, correct word usage, common expressions, expect to learn about why we do what we do as "Western" English speakers. I have a Master's in teaching and I have taught children, teens, and adults.
