Hello, I am Nhu Vu and studying in sjsu (CA). I have experienced teaching Vietnamese with kids in the church. For me, teaching is a wonderful path because it will help my students have two languages and easy to apply for the best job in the future that is an advantage.

I spent 10+ years learning English since I was 12 years old, but I could not speak and listen to English well even I could write and read well. But now, I can communicate well in English and still try to improve it every day. I know how difficult to learn a new language. I can do it and I know you can do it too, just never give up. I am here to help and listen.

Aloha, I am a language teacher and specialist from Vietnam holding a Masters degree in Second Language Studies, specialized in Language Education. I have years teaching English Academic courses for international students at a university in the US and providing writing mentoring and consultation across disciplines. Regarding Vietnamese language teaching, I am fluent in three major dialects of Vietnamese (North, Central, South) and have good experience teaching Vietnamese heritage language students in the US, especially Southern dialect.

I have completed a Vietnamese language teaching certification, an AA in tourism, and a BA in English, and am now studying a multilingual Master of Business Administration (MBA). I also bring thirteen years of international customer service and management experience at BMW (Vietnam) and in Singapore where I translated and interpreted on a daily basis (English /Vietnamese) and the daily joy of speaking both languages fluently with my American husband and communities. I have additionally taught both Vietnamese and English at the university and private commercial level (both in traditional and online formats). I am eager to dedicate what I have learned from these experiences to help you meet your present and future goals.

Vietnam is one of the most beautiful country in the world with a rich culture history. I would be more than happy to share it with you. My teaching style is realistic and fun. Conversational and real world experience is the most important. As a Native speaker, who is still very much in tune with current pop culture. My name is Terexa Nguyen and my background is in Education and Communication Studies. I received my B.A. in Education at CSU Eastbay in 2012 and an A.A. in Communication Studies in 2015 from Mission College. I have worked with students of varying ages, ranging from preschoolers to college students. My focus is on ESL, Intermediate English, and Vietnamese for those who wish to learn a different language or want to enhance their reading, writing, and speaking skills in the English and Vietnamese language. My preferred teaching style is hands-on and active. I love to make learning a fun and memorable experience for all my students, therefore I like to incorporate music and films into the lessons to help my students get a hold of the language they are learning at a much faster pace.

I have been teaching Vietnamese since I was in high school for local children. I always look forward to imparting knowledge of Vietnamese linguistics- one of the most difficult languages ​​in the world. Helping to build a greater understanding of Vietnamese and the cultural traditions of the country. Mastery of foreign language opens new worlds and teaching is one of my missions.
