Hi! My name is Valentina I have a degree in foreign languages and I have experience in teaching foreign languages. I can speak and teach Italian, English, and Spanish and during my lessons, I mainly focus on speaking practice and grammar. I help students with flashcards and exercises and I make my lessons more fun and relaxing by playing youtube videos related to the topic we're studying or by playing language games and listening to songs. I am also specialized in literature, translation, politics, and economics so I can offer lessons to learn the jargon and vocabulary of those specific fields and focus on more complex topics.

I love languages and I developed my teaching skills in the past 10 years especially when doing tandems (exchange languages teachings). That type of mutual teaching gave me great flexibility and understanding of how adjusting the teaching of Italian language to different cultural context and Germanic, Slavic languages. As I am also an artist, I like to teach Italian and build up the student’s vocabulary and idiomatic expressions knowledge through the reading and studying of Italian songs, classical movies, poetry and literature. I am very interested in the Director of Spanish Teacher position. I currently work as a tutor for those learning English. I believe my skills and experiences that I have gained from this position make me a perfect candidate for the job. My time as a teacher counselor has given me insight into the human psyche. Teaching languages is my biggest passion. Since I was a young girl, I have always wanted to become a wonderful teacher and... I hope I will realize my wishes soon. I'm working very hard to get there. In my Italian lessons, I like to speak a lot in my mother language, in order to teach better to my students and to transmit them my deepest passion for teaching.
