When I start teaching Italian to a new student, the first thing I do is to tell him/her to forget about English language. We are going to listen, speak, write, read and have conversations in Italian language. Students will learn with me how to use correctly the grammar, spelling, expressions but also the culture, art and history about Italy. They will be able to read articles, novels, watch films and sing correctly Italian lyrics. I am a native Arabic speaker, born and raised in Morocco hence mastering Standard Arabic as well as my own dialect. As Maghrebians, we have a natural ease of getting a handle on all Arabic dialects from Northern African, Gulf, and Levantine which gives me full confidence in covering up the full spectrum of both standard Arabic as well as dialectal expressions. On another hand, I'm bilingual in French and fluent in English and would love to tutor you in these languages additionally or exclusively. I am an experienced and qualified teacher of English, Italian and French. I've taught privately to both children and adults. I also teach Art and literacy as well as study skills and language skills such as reading, writing, listening but also teach conversation classes. Depending on the student's interests and needs I vary my lessons in order to engage my pupil. I sometimes use quite a lot of Art, imagery and drawing in my language lessons with children as it helps them learn and for my solo adult language learning lessons we sometimes do quizzes or read newspaper articles and watch video clips and look at social media (in the chosen language). I prefer to establish a rapport with my student(s) and make sure I find out enough about them before I plan my lessons to ensure they have fun!

I have experience as a tutor for athletes, which can be pretty difficult sometimes. So I can work with you through troubles of understanding and bring things about in a different way. I love teaching because it helps me understand more! I'm learning with you!

Learning English or French with me is, as I often hear, very fun because I always make sure students first let out all their worries, prejudices or any other positive or negative thing they might have heard about the language. My 5-year experience in teaching these two languages have taught me that students most often know exactly what they'd like to accomplish at the end of the day, ergo it's very important to listen carefully to them to easily tend to their specific needs. I won't claim I am better than any other French or English teacher round here, but what I know for sure is that if I have been an epitome of a good language teacher in all the schools where I have taught these languages; it's because I always make sure my students get only the best they deserve.
