I started teaching Italian almost 20 years ago as a lecturer for Business and Legal Italian because it was suitable to my family life. I never stopped teaching after that. I have been working with college students and business people in Germany. In the US with adults and children. I like to try and teach the language in question by means of its culture, as much as possible - not just learning grammatically correct sentences (although I do believe in producing correct language!) I aim to immerse the learner in as much of the language of possible during the lesson and make the session enjoyable and stimulating, drawing on a wide range of resources. I teach the grammar tricks to better memorize it all and I connect the student's language to the target language and culture. My methods are light and fun, I like to focus on the conversation and practice like it were an Happy Hour meeting with friends. However, I touch all the language registries and contexts, that is from informal to Formal, from daily situations to business interviews and cultural manners etc. The students will be fully-immersed into the language and the culture with a lot of easy and cool material (games, songs, movies, etc.) because I like them to be independent in creating all sentences they need.
