Hey there, I’m Becca. Nice to meet you guys. I’m really excited to begin teaching English and Spanish at a decent level to you. I am a six form student hoping to get some more language experience to expand my CV for my career and uni course starting later this year. I am a fun and bubbly individual who has a pure passion for languages. Languages can be very difficult and it took me years to get a grasp on Spanish. English is my native language and from learning Spanish, I believe that I will be able to explain the English language, similar to what I have learnt from learning the Spanish language. I hope to become fluent, and I hope I can teach you some of what I’ve already learnt myself. My lessons will be very cheap since I don’t have qualified experience but hopefully you’ll love it!

I am a native speaker of both Spanish and English, I grew-up in both Mexico and the United States with one parent from each country. I have experience teaching Spanish in high schools, universities, and in hospitals- one of my specialities along with language acquisition is medical Spanish. I have also worked with government agencies as a Spanish-English interpreter. My teaching scores by my students are higher than the other instructors, and my classes score higher on their tests than other classes of the same level. I use real world situations in my teaching and tailor to the student’s interests.

If you come learn Spanish with me, I will first ask you to speak a few phrases to find out how advanced you are. Then we will work on building vocabulary and grammar skills. As far as exercises, I like to use the book Enfoques for grammar and encourage conversation with open-ended prompts. Alli vamos!

I have always loved languages and other cultures and embraced moving to the UK 8 years ago. Now, I hops to help others fall in love with foreign idioms and show them how fascinating discovering a new culture can be. I make my classes exciting, wanting my learners to truly immerse themselves in the language they are studying. I describe my lessons as ‘displays of the Italian and Spanish worlds, a true virtual journey in the countries, for an hour or two’. I adapt to my learners and reinvent my teaching style with every group to ensure my students feel comfortable and really learn during our time together.

I consider myself a fun, responsible and hardworking person who does all her best to prepare dynamic and entertaining learning lessons. I employ a student-centred approach that checks how students feel regarding their own progression and offer encouragement at all times. My classes also follow a communicative approach mainly focusing on conversational skills. They are all well-structured, delivered in a clear and concise manner and are predominantly in the target language, so to increase exposure to Spanish. Each class will try and cover all of the skills associated with learning a language i.e. listening, writing, reading and speaking through the use of activities that will prepare you for everyday scenarios. I prepare and provide my students with activities and handouts tailored.

Hi guys, it's Federico from Spain. A few years ago I discovered that teaching was one of my passions. I enjoy getting to know people and being helpful for them. I am not and ordinary teacher, I don't want to feel like we are in a class, but instead just try to find out things that we can have in common or things the student can be interested in, so we can start using Spanish to talk about it. I try to speak mostly in Spanish but very slowly and in a communicative way. Obviously, it is important to know the basics but after this, we will just practice and eventually you will be able to understand everything I say.

As well, I am a graduate in Translation and Interpreting. For many years I have done face-to-face (in a Spanish school) and virtual classes.
